Answering patient calls

Anima's update on 18 August 2026 reports 21,020 calls handled by Andi over three months, around 320 a day, with 9,748 requests captured for the practice.

Triage and correspondence

The update also reports 14,568 triage requests, with seven in ten closed the same day. Separately, it records 11,174 incoming letters processed with less than a minute of staff time per letter.

What changed at reception

In a 4 September follow-up, the practice reported that reception answered 5,000 fewer calls in the first month while 5,000 forms still reached the team through Andi. The update describes a change in how requests arrived, rather than a fall in patient demand.

An August follow-up also reports that half of the 11,174 letters reached the patient record within a day. That elapsed time is a different measure from the hands-on processing time reported above.
